I closed on my house on September 24th, 2025. I was in the middle of moving out of the house I sold that was two hours away so I asked if it would be possible to mail my paperwork and house keys. I was told that they would check to see if that was possible and call me back, they never did. I was in Hickory a few days later and called to see if I could just come by and pick my paperwork and keys up and was told they had been mailed. This began multiple phone calls because I never received either. I called this morning, October 15, 2025 and was told my paperwork and keys had "magically" been returned and they were right there on the desk. When I asked what address they had originally been sent to I was told that she couldn't see the address? I went to the office to pick my paperwork and keys up and they were not in an envelope at all, the whole incident was questionable to me. I have personally worked with attorneys, I have closed two prior home sales and I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism out of any attorney prior to this.

James Fleischer and the Team at Fleischer Law Office did a great job handling my client's real estate transaction! They were organized, efficient, and accommodating. When we needed to move settlement to the next day, eventhough there wasn't time on their schedule, they made time to fit us in. Whether it meant coming in early or staying late they were willing to go the extra mile. This means a lot when clients are anxious, emotions are high and movers are already scheduled. Hickory is lucky to have such wonderful caring attorneys and I look forward to closing more transactions at their table. Thank you!

Update: August 4th 2025 and this is still not fixed. THIS ATTORNEY OFFICE IS A JOKE. We used this attorney to do our closing on March 24th, 2025. We purchased our home, and the lot next to it. When reporting to the titling company and GIS this attorney office failed to report the lot next to it as being purchased by us as well. I first contacted them on May 8th to report the issue, the lot I'm supposed to own and that I'm paying for, is in someone else's name still. Every time I call them it's like I have to start over explaining myself the issue to these people, have been told "well we've just been super busy". By telling me that, you're basically telling me your other clients are more important. They even lied to my wife and said "our phones was down an entire week". I guess they could care less considering they've already collected their money on the closing. I wouldn't use this attorney office for nothing, I hated to post this review but enough is enough, nothing else is motivating these people to help us now since they've already got our money.

I can't say enough about James Fleischer and his team. Brenda, Paige, Heather have always been so reliable and prompt in providing our clients with their title work. When you call their office you actually speak to a person instead of an answering service. They are friendly, professional, and I highly recommend them!

James and his team are phenomenal. If you're looking for a great real estate attorney, look no further. They're knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with.
