By far the rudest lawyer I have ever talked to. As any polite first time customer would do, I asked her how she was doing when she first answered the phone. She was very rude and completely ignored me and proceeded to interrupt me as I told her that I called to ask simple question. Being a first-time customer I didn't know about her "I don't answer questions over the phone" policy but she definitely made me aware with a very nasty attitude. She did not even give me a chance to ask a question that could have taken less than 2 minutes of her time. I understand lawyers are busy, but it's important to also know how to treat customers correctly. I would definitely not recommend her. Very bad first-time experience.

Not deserving of one star and I should not be forced to give one.The lack of professionalism of this office is under-rated by the many folks that warned me not to use this office - but they were recommended by the Catawba Clerk of Court so my thoughts were, how bad can they be... well, I just learned just how bad they are! Contacted this firm after recommendation (Sept 2020). I was assured by the leading attorney that they could and would handle my dad's estate. As requested, I forwarded documents but heard nothing for a little over a month, which should have been a red flag. My email trail shows that after inquiring several times about the process, I finally received an email and call... my guess is that, that is when the process officially started. Long story short, its April 2021 and I received a check and letter in the mail stating that they can no longer handle the estate - find someone else in Catawba County to help me with it. I called the office this morning and the leading attorney stated that the person handling my dad's estate retired and that the case had caused them too much trouble (for God sake, not like dad had a mansion on the hill) being that I was in another state and there was a minor involved. It was also stated that the minor had not turned 18 until after the retired person left the office, but I have emails from this worker that shows the minor turned 18 prior to her leaving the office. So, then it was stated that the minor had just turned 18 just before the worker retired, which is true, but why not have the courtesy (which any decent attorney would have) to share this information with your client. Instead, in March 2021 they asked for the name and contact information of a relative in the state that could be used as the person handling the estate. The relative spent her time meeting at the office to provide the information that this office requested of her. No one from this office mentioned to the relative that the worker was retiring and that we would need to contact another attorney's office if the estate proceedings were not completed by the retirement date. This office had seven months to tell me that they could not handle this simple task due to a retirement. The folks working for this office should be ashamed. Obviously, they must be desperate for work because as a paralegal, I would not attach my name to the lack of loyalty this office has exhibited to their own client(s). Is it that easy for a small town Hickory attorney to accept a case and then simply decide to not handle the case because it caused them too much trouble. Being the paralegal that I am... I will find out.

Rude and disrespectful She was the rudest person I believe I ever met esp being someone y whom should be on your side. She don't remember conversation you have with her and make sure to go to all your court dates and have something to prove it bec she will forget and hit you wjth an fta first chance she gets

Wish I could give her a zero also. Never met her but she was very rude to my daughter and disrespectful. She worked against her instead of for!! I will say she needs prayers. She never know how much harm she has done to people who depending on her to do the right thing and didnt
