Mr. Curtis is my attorney during my custody case, which by far has been one of the most important and stressful chapters of my life, I followed his lead and listen to what he suggested and recommended I do during this case. Him and his team even at times I was frustrated with things during this processes they were understanding and helpful. We ended up having to go to trail and thankfully with Gods blessing Mr. Curtis helped prepare me for what was to come and he as well executed very well in the court room. He did exactly what he told me he was going to do and more. I'm thankful to him and his team they worked day n night on my case to make sure we had everything we needed in place. I would highly recommend Mr. Curtis and his team.

UPDATE: as of 8:45am 9/9/25 Mr Curtis has made a phone call to her & dropped her as a client due to this review. He said he would refund her money "if there was any left." Which I'm sure there won't be he will find a way to screw her over again. UPDATE: as of 3:15pm 9/9/25 Mr Curtis has sent an itemized bill with a balance being owed by my friend to him. He has filed 3 documents since the start, a Notice of Appearance, a counterclaim on 8/25/25 (the night before court on 8/26/25) & a Motion to Withdraw. All phone calls, in person visits and emails can be verified and will be cross referenced with proof. I knew he would screw her over one last time. Take your business elsewhere. He's not worthy of any funds. My close friend hired Attorney John Curtis to represent her in a DVPO and child custody matter, and unfortunately her experience was extremely negative. From the beginning, she did not feel that her case was handled with professionalism or care. During her hearing, she was pressured into signing an agreement under duress, directly after she had testified under oath about very private and personal issues in her marriage. Rather than supporting her through the process, John Curtis raised his voice at her, telling her that her case was not going well and that she would lose her children if she did not agree. She felt cornered and coerced, not properly advised or protected. After this, communication became nearly nonexistent. Her emails have went unanswered, there has been no follow-up on critical issues, and she has not even been notified of additional filings made by the opposing party in her case. This is leaving her blindsided and unprepared. She trusted Attorney John Curtis with one of the most important matters of her life, and she feels that trust was completely betrayed. His actions--or lack thereof--not only failed to advocate for her, but left her in a worse position than when she started. She nor I can recommend this lawyer to anyone seeking representation in sensitive family law matters. Take your business elsewhere to a trusted attorney. If I could give 0 stars I would.
