This was the fourth office I had called the morning of this no office would offer any advice and all offices refused to help us. My husband had been receiving some form of social security and we have been trying for 2 years to find out why it is such a small amount. As soon as my husband came home I mentioned the word work credits to him and it was as if a light bulb went off in his head. He looked at me and he said honey that's the word they were using that I did not understand what it meant. I asked him I said do you mean work credits and he said yes and I informed him that work credits deteriorate over time if the person is not steadily working and paying in taxes. Like I said this was the fourth office I had called in that one day and the young lady journey here was the only one willing to even talk to me for more than 30 seconds. We have come to know so very much more about SSI now and everything is working out great. I am truly appreciative of Miss journey she talked to me and helped us tremendously.
