This Law firm was recommended to me but when I called them I spoke with the receptionist, she took my information and said someone would be calling me back. It was recommended to me to speak with Marcus Carpenter by the person that referred me to that office. I waited from the initial call on a Thursday until late Wednesday afternoon when I called again. I spoke with the same receptionist and again she said Mr Carpenter would call. It has been 2 months and still not a call from that law firm. I've since hired someone else. If they don't have the integrity and respect to call you back after getting all your information I would think twice before hiring Gray Layton Kersh to represent you.

David Smith represented my father, in a family estate matter, in the early 1990's. Yet, when recently attempting to obtain service again, he did not honor the standard ethical approach "conflict of interest" when accepting my opponent's case over mine. Why David?!?! So, why did you sell out ethics like almost all other professional attorneys (who do not handle conflicts of interest)? We had you at an early career stage. Some may even claim unknown. Did you forget where you came from David?!?! William Sain, a generic lawyer that couldn't negotiate out of a wet paper bag. Sain is a disgrace to the rule of law. He's a total embarrassment and is facing NC Bar complaint(s).

My father died in October. They have yet to settle the estate. Apparently, when they elected, my sister be executor. They can't do anything with her, so I don't know what to tell you . Sandra tried to help me in every way she can, but there's only so much you can do with a bad executor. Let my brother move into the house and he doesn't have the money to pay for it. I'm elderly and this has been a lot of stress.

I recently had a consultation with Marcus Carpenter. The staff are fantastic and the level of service was wonderful. Mr. Carpenter went out of his way to explain everything. I would thoroughly recommend him and this company to anyone.
