If Angela Hatley could bully her way through the court room like she does to her clients or the bad reviewers she might actually be a decent lawyer. My experience with Hatley Law Firm was extremely disappointing, especially for something as important as a custody case. Communication was consistently poor, and I often had to reach out multiple times just to get basic updates. Despite repeated attempts to explain my situation, it never felt like my attorney fully understood the details or the urgency of my case. The entire process felt unorganized and rushed. Important information was overlooked, guidance was limited, and it became clear that the firm takes on a high volume of cases at lower prices -- and the quality of service reflects that. When I expressed my concerns and said I wasn't happy with how things were going, my attorney responded by calling me and yelling at me, which was incredibly unprofessional, especially in the context of a custody case where emotions and stakes are already high. I ultimately fired the firm due to the poor handling of my case. In her withdrawal filing, instead of taking responsibility or acknowledging any issues, she placed the blame on me and included comments that came across as unnecessarily nasty and unprofessional. On another note when I went to pick up my file it had someone else's case paperwork in there. Extremely unorganized. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Hatley Law Firm to anyone seeking reliable, respectful, or competent representation.

Extremely Disappointed - Unprofessional Experience from Start to Finish If you're looking for a law firm that takes your money and then goes completely silent, look no further. After making my payment, I received zero updates on my case. I messaged through the client portal--no response. I called the office and was met with rudeness from the person who answered. The cherry on top? The next day, I received an early morning call from the attorney herself--not to apologize or provide an update, but to lecture me about "professionalism" while raising her voice. Ironically, this call was the most effort and urgency I saw from the firm the entire time. If only that same energy had been directed toward actually working on my case, we might have made some progress. I suppose professionalism now includes yelling at clients and ignoring them for days. The office itself is another story. A dog was freely roaming around, even jumping on my daughter. I have nothing against animals, but being greeted by a random, smelly dog in a law office is not exactly the image of a "serious business." The entire office had a musty, unpleasant odor--not exactly welcoming or professional. should have turned around the moment I opened the door and caught a strong whiff of dog and musty furniture. After nearly a month, absolutely nothing had been done on my case. she refunded my money--by check. And didn't even bother to spell my name correctly. A fitting end to a completely careless and unprofessional experience. The same day I hired a new attorney, and saw more progress within 24 hours than I did in an entire month with this firm. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration--go elsewhere for legal services.

Both Attorney Angela Hatley and Attorney Jessica Flowers represented me extremley well. I had no worries with these ladies as legal representation. They were both knowledgeable, attentive, and caring. They also communicated in a timely manner and that was important to me. This law firm is hands down the best in Fayetteville.
