Doug Hux is an exceptional attorney!! And his secretary Carrie is awesome too!! He would be lost without her keeping things he needs in order while he fights tooth and nail to get your case done!! He helped my husband and I recently in a ridiculous estate case that no one else could have won but Doug!! He saw a statute in the law that without his expertise in court that day, would have otherwise been missed, even by other attorneys representing other parties in the case. Mr. Hux was kind and always understanding when we didn't quite understand some things along the way, but he honored his word, from the beginning of the case over a year ago, and now all is resolved thanks to him, and we can move on with our lives with peace of mind! Thank you Doug and Carrie (sorry if I spelled it wrong)!!! For all of your hard work!!

Awful. He was hired for estate case. His Secretary said he handles estate cases but he knew NOTHING about estate law. Almost a year later, he still did not have a true inventory to report to court. His standard response to every question is " just relax. We have time". He kept taking more cases while letting ours sit. Although money was in estare account he only paid 3 bills; one of which was to himself. Needless to say, he was fired and a new attorney was hired. He did more in the first week then Hux did in 9 months. Ps. His secretary is GREAT and knows more than he does but working for him has to be exhausting because she's caught in the middle of angry clients and an irresponsible boss who hangs out at the court house EVERY day to avoid clients until about 2 or 3. DON'T waste your time or money with him.

So far he has done absolutely nothing to help my son don't return calls rudley hung up on and won't plea his case instead he I'd trying to railroad him into take a plea of five to ten years .Without any investigation into the true facts about my son's Innocent north caCaroli bar association has been called .h is a public defender for my son doing the least he has to . No return calls hangs up on on you while asking questions also Carrie his secetasec isn't any better

Rude is not the word. Secretary is no better! Lies and calls u names behind your back. Did nothing to help my son other than fill his head with lies. Look elsewhere for an attorney. This one is rude hateful arrogant and definitely has a issue with females. Will lie and do most anything to win. Including lie in court.

This law office is the best! They have gone over and Beyond for me they are always helping you in any way that they came. I needed a lawyer last minute I was able to get in the day before I needed them they were able to help me he won my cases he has never made me feel as though we were not going to win Carrie is amazing I love talking to her and warm friendly personality makes you feel welcome and they want to help
