My son had been fighting for disability for the last 10 years after he sustained a traumatic brain injury from a car accident. He had other previous attorneys which left him after the first denial not even giving him any further advice or communication. We hired The Clauson Law Firm in 2022 and they worked very hard nonstop on his case. They kept in frequent contact with him receiving updates on his progress. They came to court and after a denial they didn't abandon my son like the previous attorneys. They had complete faith in his case and kept fighting until they won this past august. They were on to work with considering I had to file twice. I went so way to appeal court the first time and was still denied in spite of them saying thinks looked to be in my favor. After filling another time and losing a whole lot of back pay I was 2 weeks before my hearing dates and we were going over pre trial things and I asked did they have my letter of recommendation from Dr and the paperwork another doctor filed out for ss. They then checked into it and canned me back to inform me they only had my letter of recommendation. So I had to hustle and scramble around to get it done in time for hearing. They never once informed me that they never received paperwork 2 years ago or that I needed a DR to fill out necessary paperwork either time I filled. It took me 6 years to get approved and I could have been approved over 3 years ago if they would have known and informed me of the paperwork needed by Dr to back my condition. It's simple paperwork that you must have in order to qualify regardless if you have a lawyer or not. I prob could have won my case without the lawyer if only is had the paper work complete. They will call you once a month or more often to go over standard questions about your self and case. It can really get annoying if nothing ever changes. They call 2-3 times back to back and when you call them back they take days to return your call. And it's a repeat cycle. I really don't see where they helped my case at all. Just took a good portion of my money for things that I don't myself. They knew I needed Dr prayer work and failed to mention it while leading me on fire years and through 2 cases almost to be denied again for not having DR paper work. Still sunny know what happened to the posters the first time or why they wasn't in my file. My DR filled out and returned in timely fashion. And I thought everything was a go until I questioned it right before hearing. I almost ran it is time to get it taken care of. So they surely didn't have clients best interest in mind. Also they had a allot of people with accents that was very difficult to understand sometimes. Keep looking of your want a lawyer with your best interest in mind.

I called them in 2023 and they told me I had a case did everything I was supposed to do and they took my case and a week before I go to my hearing in front of the judge they call me and tell me I don't have enough credit to get disability which they should have known that when I applied in 2023 I feel like they waisted my time for 2 yrs !!!!!!!!! And never talked to the lawyer until today only talked to secretary that really sucks and the lawyers at any law firm should talk to me or anyone that hire them since they know more!!! It felt like stab in my stomach when I got off the phone with her I have alot of health problems I don't recommend this firm!!!
