I had received an inheritance which was left to my deceased husband. I was unable, through several avenues to cash the check. Finally, I was referred to McIntosh Law Firm, and they were able to manage the issue and cash the check for me. I worked with Janis Gillespie, and my communications with her were professional, friendly and efficient. She recognized my confusion and she assisted me through every step of the process. Attorney Louise Paglen and the staff at McIntosh Law helped my husband and me write our wills and set up a living trust. They were professional and thorough, and answered all our questions patiently. When my husband died less than two years later, and I wasn't sure what I needed to do, they were most helpful and kind. I was grateful for their expertise and guidance. It was a great relief to be able to rely on them.

I took my mom to see Louise because my mom is on Medicaid and we were told to see a Lawyer that specializes in Elder Law. I cannot say enough about the staff, but especially Louise Paglen. She was amazing and took time to explain everything. She put myself but especially my mom at peace with her personal situation for down the road as she gets older. She even went over my moms will and explained things that were missing that she felt would be extremely important. Things we thought were covered and my moms assets were covered but weren't. Wish we went to Louise when we did her will. I strongly recommend you see Louise for any of your needs. Especially to make sure you or your loved ones are protected. She touched our hearts with how she cared and was so understanding and supportive. She is worth every dime. If you want honesty, integrity and care for you and your lived ones, Don't look any further than Louise Paglen.

Extremely poor attitude and customer service, especially if you mention financial hardship.. I called this firm originally and got a quote and was told they could do what I needed. Amanda was the one communicating (for the attorney Louise Paglan) so this review mainly reflects Amanda and how she has been trained to interact/how she chooses to interact with potential clients. I then called and asked if they had payment plans, and they said no and referred me to an ABLE account, which will not fit what I need. Meanwhile, I threw away the paper I wrote the quote on bc it didn't seem like an option. Meanwhile a donor came forward. I then called back when I had the fund availability to ask them to remind me of the exact quote and to pay, and I was told they (suddenly) can't do these types of trusts and that my Parents would need to meet with them too (I'm almost 40, not a minor, plus my parents would not be the trustees). If that wasn't a lie from Amanda, I would be shocked, bc I called around s few other places and kept being referred back to Louise as places say special needs trusts are very specific and especially the type I'm wanting are what Louise does. Waited a bit and called back and talked to Amanda bc I'm once again ready to pay for a consult and get this done and she was extraordinarily rude and snotty again and basically hung up on me when I told her that I had payment. I was telling them I can fill out their questionnaire and pay. She made a weird comment that they can't keep giving the same information and not doing anything. If a prospective client is saying they would like to set up an appointment and pay the firm and get things moving, it is very different from calling back to ask if they have payment programs and is very different from my initial call where I asked for a quote and if they were able to do what I needed. In that previous call Amanda had, I believe, lied and said Louuse could not even do the type of trust that I wanted and that my parents had to come (other lawyers told me your trustee has to meet NOT your parents). Overall, terrible attitude. Would not trust them. Clearly only interested in easy money and not client care. Seems the type of place that will leave a snotty reply covering their tails but I can promise you Amanda rushed me off the phone and basically hung up on me, denied me an appointment , and was snotty in every call after after I so much as mentioned payment plans in my 2nd? call. Felt like In Pretty Women when she goes to the store with a credit cares and they refuse to wait on her because of how she's dressed and then she goes on a huge shopping spree and store by to tell them 'big mistake'. I have taken my business elsewhere and have been treated with kindness and professionalism , and they will be getting the payment instead of Mcintosh.
