Emily was referred to me by a close friend several years back. My first visit with Emily made me realize she was the Attorney I needed to represent me. I have since used Emily for other family matters and legal advice over the years. You will not find a more knowledgeable, honest, hard working, caring, compassionate or understanding attorney than Emily Dezio. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a family law attorney.

After working with Emily during an extensive complex custody case, I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with Emily and Julie her paralegal. I found Emily to be more than an attorney. She helped me understand the realities of the current family court system, coached me on the limitations of expecting "fair and just" instead of focusing on the big picture. I learned to play for the long game of what was best for my girls, understanding fighting every battle takes focus off fighting the most important one. Her fees are reasonable, she is a problem solver, and doesn't create unnecessary drama. She is also a mama, and focused on what is best for the children first and foremost. Emily had made sure I had the children as dependents for tax purposes so 2 years after my divorce Emily's incredible work on my behalf was still reaping monetary rewards for my children and myself. Not only did she do all of the above, during my divorce which was an incredibly difficult period in my life she was a rock solid supporter and continued to do so after my divorce was finalized.
