If you want an attorney who you think you can trust, yet you think your money is well spent... You might not want to hire Nancy. Presently, I have a grievance filed with the NC State bar association as she literally abandoned my child custody case only three weeks it from trial, after a painstaking amount of time had passed waiting for a special hearing. Most unprofessional and lack of decency. I was an excellent client, helping with research and even filed and documented for her. She has no children, so there is no empathy towards involving them in adult custody cases. She withdrew from my case bc I refused to supoena my children even tho they would have ultimately helped my case. I've never been treated more unprofessionally since I've lived in the community for over eighteen years. In my opinion, she is burned out and wants the low hanging fruit of cases. If you want an atty to work, look for another.

So far Mr. Brooks has been an excellent lawyer, he has done everything that he said he was going to do. Getting a hold of him sometimes can be a hassle but I know they stay busy.
