Anna H. Bowkett is an absolutely brilliant attorney, and person in general. She's easy to talk to and very thorough. She was a blessing during our custody/visitation cases, it was such a stressful time but having an attorney like Anna takes away so much of the burden of worrying. She always kept us updated, and acted swiftly with matters pertaining to court. She listened, and cared and put our child's needs first. She cares about what she does, she remembered things about our case that happened a year ago and takes time to get to know you and the details of your case which made her representation of us impeccable. She is very knowledgeable in case law and really puts her whole heart into her work and fighting for her clients. Anna is professional, responsive, supportive and truly looked out for our child's best interests. We are indebted to her forever, we could not have prayed for a better attorney. I'm a mental health therapist and I refer so many of clients to her, having used her myself. Anna and her paralegal are great with their communication which I feel is a serious struggle with other attorneys. She's empathetic, she's compassionate, and she genuinely cares. Furthermore, Anna works with you to help you carve out the goals you want. She doesn't just tell you what you want to hear- she is transparent and direct which I greatly appreciate. When it comes to sensitive custody cases, having a solid plan in place and the ability to execute that plan in a timely manner matters. Anna excelled here. We were frequently on the phone talking about what was happening and what our next steps were. I feel she went above and beyond what I had expected from any attorney. I'd also highly recommend her for any custody cases involving domestic violence. Not every attorney gets its- but she does. I can't say enough good things about my experience. It's important to feel good about your attorney and hiring Anna was the best decision I made.

Adam Bull helped me with a difficult and urgent legal situation on short notice. He returned my initial call promptly. He then made multiple calls on my behalf well after "normal business hours" and timely reported back to me regarding his related findings. His experience and contacts in the Asheville area were of great benefit in working though the matter, and he was more than competitive in his billing for services. He is a man of his word.

UPDATED REVIEW: If I could leave zero stars, I would. After being kept from my 4 year old daughter for four months, I hired Adam Bull with the hope of strong representation. Instead, I was met with minimal effort, poor communication, and disappointing results. Despite a hefty retainer and being billed $425 an hour, I did nearly all of the legwork myself while his firm displayed disorganized record-keeping and lack of follow-through. My concerns were dismissed, my expectations were repeatedly tempered, and I was gaslit into believing I should be grateful for the bare minimum. While Mr. Bull may consider my case a "win," it was not a win for my family. My daughter needed an advocate; what we got was someone who collected fees and left me carrying the entire burden of my case. If you are a parent fighting for your child, I strongly caution you against entrusting your family's future to this attorney or his firm. Ultimately, I retained new counsel, and through their efforts I am now the primary physical custodian of my daughter and the final decision maker on all major non-emergency decisions--as I always should have been. What a waste of time and money. Shame on you and your firm.
