I got my first speeding ticket recently at 31 years of age... and was mortified!! It was pretty traumatic for me and no the state trooper had no mercy that day (I am a rule-follower in case you didn't know). Needless to say I was really not up for trying to find an attorney to help me nor calling any of the numbers on the letters I was getting from local attorneys. These folks made initial contact with me via email, as well as following up via snail mail. That point is important; within a week following my citation for a moving vehicle infraction (back in Dec. '17), I received a ton of correspondence from several different area law firms, all purporting to offer me a fix for my pending court visit (for a price, of course).
