I hired them to represent me in a personal injury case, but instead of acting in my best interest, they only seemed to care about their own agenda. The lawyer assigned to my case was rude, incompetent, and lacked any sort of empathy for my situation. He failed to communicate with me in a timely manner, ignored my concerns, and repeatedly missed important deadlines. Despite my numerous attempts to get answers and receive proper representation, the firm failed to deliver. To make matters worse, their billing practices were outrageous and seemingly designed to fleece their clients of as much money as possible. They billed for every single phone call, email, and minute of work, even if it had no bearing on my case. The bills I received were inflated and did not seem to reflect the actual work being done. In addition, the firm was unprofessional in their communication with other parties involved in my case, often causing unnecessary delays and further frustration for me as a client. The firm was also unresponsive to my requests for documentation, such as itemized bills and court filings, making it impossible for me to understand the progress of my case. I would strongly advise anyone considering Finer & Fanelli to choose a different firm. They lack any sort of ethical standards, take advantage of their clients, and do not provide the level of representation that one would expect from a law firm. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the state bar association and hope to prevent others from having to endure the same experience that I did.

To say we were disappointed with Stuart Finer and his team is an understatement. We hired Stuart to represent us on an FSBO housing purchase. Extremely straightforward and shouldn't have been that difficult as we didn't even have any realtors in the transaction. After having to consistently call them to receive any updates, we ended up closing 2 and a half weeks late... on a two month long closing. Their team was never able to give us a proper answer to our questions about what was happening during the process, and deflected every time with "don't worry, we are on it". Which definitely was not the case. To top off this long and arduous process, we found out that the seller's attorney did not correctly write up the deed and left out 9 acres of our property. This should have been caught by Stuart and his team but was likely never even looked at. After bringing this to Stuart's attention he tried everything in his power to not do any further reconciliation or take responsibility until we threatened legal action against his team. We closed in November 2020 and just now, 4 months later have this issue corrected. I wouldn't trust this team to mow my grass let alone represent us in any legal matter ever again.

Excellent experience all around. Ignore the 2023 negative reviews, they are fake reviews by angry, hateful bigots.
