I am writing this review based on the extremely disappointing experience my mother has had with The Mannix Groups over the course of nearly a year. Despite the initial promise of professional legal support for her work accident case, the firm has, regrettably, fallen short of our expectations in several critical ways. Firstly, communication--or, more accurately, the lack thereof--has been a significant issue. For the past five months, there has been no progress on my mother's case, and our attempts to reach out for updates have been consistently ignored. Intriguingly, when calls are made from unrecognized numbers, they are promptly answered, revealing a deliberate choice to ignore our attempts at communication. Furthermore, my mother has been endeavoring for over a month to secure an appointment with her lawyer for an update on her case, to no avail. This level of inattention and lack of urgency is not only frustrating but also deeply concerning, given the personal and financial impacts of the case's unresolved status. Compounding these challenges is the fact that The Mannix Groups took on my mother's case fully aware of her inability to speak English, yet failed to provide any translation services. This oversight--or, perhaps, neglect--has placed an additional barrier to her understanding of and participation in her legal affairs, which is unacceptable and discriminatory. It is disheartening to have to write such a review, but it is crucial for others to be aware of our experience. The lack of communication, disregard for client well-being, and failure to accommodate non-English speakers are serious issues that need to be addressed. I hope that by bringing these concerns to light, The Mannix Groups will take the necessary steps to improve their services and ensure that no other client has to endure a similar experience.

I have been helping my 76 year old father with his things, because he has no idea which end is up. Andy Mannix has now twice apparently gone to court on behalf of my father from a workers comp claim from 1995. Last summer my father started receiving one of his insurance checks that he receives every month for over 20 years, but yet 100.00 was missing, I finally called and was told by Lori ( who by the way, if you work for a attorney you should dress professionally and literally not have brown teeth) or I think Greg that Andy had to go to court and money will be coming out of my father's check for 6 months. Last month it happened again, this time I called andy mannix myself and asked what it was about, he explained it was a hearing about my father's medication. I asked how long it will be coming out, he told me 6 weeks and it's already been two months. I have repeatedly asked for some type of invoice and still have not received anything. Beware!!!!!! I think he is trying to scam the elderly, at least my father, why no invoice when asked??? You can just take money out of someone's check as long as you want to with no explanation . Record everything, NYS is a 1 person consent, that means if you are recording you are giving consent, you do not need consent from the other party. I will be contacting Social Security and the Workers Compensation Board to let them know of his dealings.
