I would not recommend. She routinely dissmissed and talked down to my wife and my self regarding our son's case. Not worth the consultation fee. She did not seem interested in what happened to our son. I would pay more to actually be heard. We respectfully decided to decline future work and find a different advocate.
Andrew Gellen is an outstanding attorney. She helped me deal with difficult tenants in two different cases. She is very responsive to phone calls and text messages and she guided me through the intricacies of NY State real estate law. She has great skill with helping landlords evict non-paying tenants. She helped me in court to get a $6,000 judgment against my tenants who owed me money. Because of her proven abilities, I am using her again for handling of the selling of my property in Woodstock, NY.
Andrea worked tirelessly to advocate for my child and I cannot thank her enough for her extensive knowledge of education law, for helping us navigate an incredibly complex situation, and ultimately for winning the case. Andrea went out of her way to meet me out of her office when things needed to be signed. She checked in and updated me on the status of the case after hours. She truly seemed to work non-stop! During COVID our 1st attorney never filed my parents will and we lost a lot of time. Andrea however expedited the process immediately after hriing her; she actually had her assistant retrieve our will from the other attorney's office and filed ASAP. Within a few months we were back on track and no longer in probate. Also, her flat fee really worked for us financially due to the complexity of the estate. She was also key in handling eviction and real estate issues. Overall, I would highly recommend - if you want action hire Andrea!
