I am more than happy and pleased that I found Altman Law Office and Jared Altman became my lawyer and represented me. The qualities and attributes Jared holds are impeccable. Jared answered his phone calls for me immediately and returned phone calls promptly. Jared listens very well to my needs and resolved them in such a speedy fashion. He is very focused into his work. He is 100% reliable with all of my concerns. With no Fluff, Jared is the Real Deal and I am mighty grateful that I had the opportunity to work with him. Jared cares. I highly recommend Mr. Altman for a number of reasons. I first contacted him via his office number on a weekend. He answered immediately and had me come see him immediately. Jared gave me his cell phone number and answered immediately 99% of the time. The other times he returned the call promptly. Ditto for emails and text messages. I was very upset about the situation and he showed genuine concern for me. He explained his fee schedule in depth. At no time did I feel that I was being taken advantage of. But here is the most important reason: he knows the law! He wasn't just collecting a fee and pushing my case through the system. He applied his knowledge of our judicial system and his knowledge of existing law regarding my case. He didn't BS me about the possible outcomes of the case. But....He was successful in getting my case dismissed! I am grateful to him!

Most of the time he doesn't call back. He wanted to charge my Mother money to go to her death bed to sign papers before she passed instead of waiting to the completion of the case that has been dragging on for almost 5 years, and he said there is still alot more to be done. This is for a slip and fall injury. This is my opinion from my conversations that I had with him and from feedback from family and friends of my now deceased mother. Curious to see what his response will be. I'm sure it will be like all the others. I fear retaliation for writing this but others need to possibly take this into consideration if looking to obtain Lawyer. Of coarse Mr. Atman is going to try to protect himself with a explanation, see below. Case has been going on for approximately 5 YEARS, and he told me we aren't getting close to the end of the case. As per the neighbors at my Mother's senior complex he used to come over with his dog and he use to promised my Mother things that weren't accurate. Again this is what the neighbors stated that my Mother said. Please read the other review, also stated he doesn't call back for a few days which Altman admitted in this case as well. How unprofessional for him to talk about my family in a negative light. SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT!

He came highly recommended and was highly disappointing!! Took my retainer fee no problem and then did ZERO work on my case for three weeks. Leaving voicemails and emails and no response until 4 days later. Then when I asked for a refund of the retainer because he made ZERO progress he kept $350. I had only spoken to him a total of 15 minutes between the few calls he actually returned. Would never recommend to anyone.

I highly recommend Mr. Altman. He was of tremendous help to me in a complicated case, which initially I thought I couldn't win but in the end I won with an unexpectedly good result. He is extremely knowledgeable, particularly about local laws (in my case it is Town of Cortlandt). He found a town code that was vital for the victory of my case. Throughout my case, he had acted highly professionally, and had been easy to reach (available in evening hours via phone and email). His charges are reasonable without any hidden charges. I am in debted to him for his help.
