I worked with George and Courtney. My closing was complicated for a variety of reasons. George and Courtney handled everything on the back end, leaving me worry free. They turned this nightmare into a very quick and smooth transaction. They were very communicative and responded quickly to any emails/calls. I enjoyed working with them and highly recommend them!

So grateful to Megan at this firm for guiding us through buying a house and renting our first home. Her attention to detail and prompt responses to our questions expedited the process, which was great especially because we closed around the holidays! We're looking forward to working with Megan again in the future.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Megan Boggs and BLLB on a complex real estate transaction, and I was blown away by her expertise, professionalism, and dedication to getting the job done.
From the initial consultation to the final closing, Megan was an absolute pleasure to work with. She took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the process, answered all of my questions (no matter how small), and made me feel confident and informed throughout.
Her knowledge of real estate law is unparalleled, and the ability to navigate even the most challenging situations is truly impressive. She was always available to address my concerns, and prompt responses put my mind at ease.
What truly sets Megan apart, however, is her commitment to me the client. She genuinely cares about the people she works with, and it shows in everything she does. She's not just a lawyer - she is a trusted advisor, a skilled negotiator, and a fierce advocate.
I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Megan, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a top-notch real estate lawyer. They're the best in the business, and I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to work with them.
Megan is the best!

I recently just purchased a home and used Megan Boggs-O'Connor to represent us as a buyer and Nicole Berthiaume as a closing coordinator.
I would not recommend either of these two to anyone buying a home. I am a first time homebuyer and at the time, I knew little to nothing about the process. Although I was not knowledgeable in the area, I still wanted to be informed at every step along the way. From day one, this was not the case. Megan and Nicole were not very personable or communicative. I would reach out daily, and not hear back for a few days. Also, they did not have our interest in mind during this process. Every time I asked a question, I would receive attitude followed up with "well, what about them?" referring to the sellers. It seemed as if nothing we said/wanted/needed mattered. The sellers were not fun to work with either, but our attorney sided with them and they're interested every step of the way. Our original date for closing was August 15th and we ended up closing on September 11th. This was due to an issue with the sellers new house. Our sale was not contingent on their sale. During this time, Megan did not fight for us or even relay information in a timely manner. She simply laid back and allowed them to delay for almost a month. In this time, I would get updates from my real estate broker and loan officer, and hear nothing from Megan. I would have to bring the info up in order for her to even touch on the topic. She was not forthcoming whatsoever.
Another big issue was our loan rate. We locked this in since we were closing soon and the sellers requested a fast close. The entire month prior we informed Megan of our rate expiration date and asked if we needed to extend it. She did not advise us at all, and kept saying, basically, don't worry about it. The week of the rate lock expiration, I emailed her everyday to remind her and to ask the sellers to pay for this extension because the delay was on their end. The entire week, I did not hear anything from Megan. Then on Friday, when the rate expired, is when she answered. She dropped the ball and didn't ask the sellers to pay for it or even talk to them. In other words, she didn't do her job. We ended up extending our rate for a month, since we did not have any information from Megan and we were already delayed a month so it was better to be safe then sorry. I was on vacation and finally received information about closing, but not from Megan or Nicole, but from our loan officer. This was to inform us that we will be closing the following Wednesday. I then called Megan's office and reached Nicole. Nicole did not have any information and said Megan was out of the office and she would give me a call. I received a call from Megan and immediately she started yelling at me. I was appalled because she is supposed to be a professional and she was angry, because she got caught not doing her job. She informed me that I was wrong for extending for 30 days, and that I was ruining the relationship her firm had with Homestead (the mortgage service) by doing this. I did not receive any guidance or advice throughout this entire process. Megan ended up paying the extension, she stated this was so we could continue the process, but it was because this was her fault.
There were many other instances that happened during the two months that I hired Megan and Nicole, but this is already long enough. Long story short, they did not fight for us, they did not negotiate AT ALL, and they are both simply rude and unprofessional.
All in all, I would never EVER recommend Megan or Nicole to anyone buying a home or needing legal services. This ruined my first home buying experience, and in my opinion, they are not qualified for the services they offer.
