The previous negative comments about Ed Mazza's past tenant experiences must be true. Ed Mazza rented an office space to me that was never cleaned, had not been painted ever, a stained and frayed rug, and mice. As an owner of business that faces the public I spent a significant amount of money cleaning and restoring the office. The lease states in clear language the deposit will be returned in 30 days. It is past 30 days now and my phone calls and emails are not being returned. Yes, the office space was commercially painted and it was clean. The space was cleaner than the first day of my lease. Renters beware, both commercial and residential, if Ed Mazza does not honor the lease that he wrote for me and the other Google reviews will he honor the lease you sign with him and maintain your future home or commercial space. Are his actions or inactions racially motivated?

Horrible experience renting with them - very little notice if any was given for the house tours, so expect people barging into your apartment at random times. Very slow maintenance, requests took weeks to about a month to resolve. There are so many better and cheaper options in the Ithaca area as well, so DO NOT rent with this company.

When I arrived to the apartment I was leasing, there was mold throughout, broken appliances, rust everywhere, and nails sticking out of the floor and shower. When I told Ed Mazza the place was unlivable, his associate, Tom Amici, insisted those were not serious issues and threatened me. I had to get the Tompkins County Public Works to inspect the apartment and say it was dangerous to live in. Only then would they let me out of the rest of my lease, but would not refund me the 1st month's and last month's rent and security deposit.

Mazza & Mazza was there when my family and I had a legal emergency and went well above and beyond to ensure everything was set up and communicated very quickly with us. We are incredibly grateful for them and their staff and the huge service they did for us and how well they navigated it all with us.

Great Real Estate legal services. Knowledge and hustle personified. Used them for a sale and a purchase. They were fantastic on both sides of the table.
