I retained Peter Brill in 2022 after seeing a number of positive reviews, but my experience did not reflect that. Initially, communication was prompt and professional. However, after retaining him, communication declined significantly. Many of my calls went unanswered for weeks or months at a time, and I was often routed to an answering service until others intervened on my behalf to reach him. I contacted the Grievance Committee regarding these concerns and also because I received multiple late-night emails from Mr. Brill threatening to sue me for defamation after I wrote an honest review of my experience and provided supporting documentation. The Grievance Committee was made aware of the situation along with screenshots and other necessary documentation. Overall, my main concern was the lack of consistent communication and the fact that the services I retained him for were not delivered as agreed. I never received any proof of correspondence between Mr. Brill and other parties advocating on my behalf, furthering negative press and inaccurate information, to which he was retained between 2022 to present. What saved him was that I did not use a real gun during the commission of the robberies.
