I hired Mr. Walsh for a family custody case and unfortunately had a very poor, humiliated experience. Communication was almost nonexistent -- in three months, he responded to only one email, even after I sent important updates and questions. He claimed he would handle communication directly but failed to keep me informed. He called me for the first time the evening before my court date, and when I returned the call, I received no response. In court, I felt unprepared and unsupported. Despite paying $5,000, I saw little to no real effort or follow-up on my case. After ending his services, I was billed an additional $1,500, which he later waived -- but that didn't change the lack of service I experienced. Mr. Walsh may do fine in real estate, but I do not recommend him for family law matters. Family cases require care, communication, and attention -- qualities I did not receive.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Used them as our lawyer for a home closing and the process was arduous at best. It could have been greatly improved had clear and concise communication been established from the beginning with us (the clients), our NY realtor and the other attorney (buyers attorney). Also, the lack of accountability for multiple missteps is unacceptable. Our NY closing was scheduled 2 hours before our closing on our new home 800 miles away. Our wire transfer was submitted to the bank after the cutoff time (which your office should have been well aware of) so we were unable to close on our new home and had to scramble to find a place to stay. We did not receive a phone call from your office letting us know of the mishap, but instead were told upon us calling that the wire was submitted, while details of the timing were left out. This caused so much confusion, stress and anxiety, as we were awaiting the wire to go through and it never did. Then the next day when the wire still hadn't gone through, we had to call your office repeatedly, as well as the bank, to ensure it was processed as soon as possible, rather than at 3pm that day when it would have been processed on it's own. No one from your office reached out to us or even appeared to be working on making sure the transfer got processed and no one was available to assist us because you were all out of the office, causing us to have to take matters into our own hands. This whole process made for an incredibly stressful experience that could have easily been avoided with clear communication and follow up. Either the office is horribly understaffed or you have lost sight of how these transactions impact the people you serve. Either way, we are very disheartened at all that occurred and do not wish for anyone else to have the same experience.

There aren't enough good words I can say about Mr. Walsh and the Walsh Law Firm. Everyone involved in this firm, including Mr. Walsh himself, are terrific people who are extremely passionate about the job they do and the people they help. I have the upmost respect for Mr. Walsh as he not only exceeded my expectations when hiring him for my case, but he made it apparent to go the extra mile to ensure the best case scenario for me. I could not be more thankful to Mr. Walsh and his wonderful staff and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone that requires his services. Mr. Walsh, thank you for going that extra mile for me these past few months, I will never forget it.

I have to say that Ms. Bradshaw and Mr. Walsh went above and beyond in helping me resolve my issue. I was working with them from a distance to help my son in Ithaca during the pandemic and their service, attention to detail and professionalism were exceptional. In addition, they were real people who understood the emotions and concerns that were involved with resolving the issue and "handled me" wonderfully. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I hired Mr. Walsh to represent my son in a criminal matter in Cortland City court. Mr. Walsh was knowledgeable , attentive to the case and my son's needs, and kept us informed every step of the way.
