hired attorney Michael Rody to handle my case, but it was a terrible experience. I paid him upfront and he never did the work he promised. For years I kept waiting, losing valuable time and money. He constantly forgot who I was, always had an excuse, or blamed his secretaries instead of taking responsibility. He rarely answered calls or messages, and when he did, it was only to give excuses. I ended up without the service I needed and lost many years of my life. I do not recommend Michael Rody at all -- he is not reliable or professional.

My father was in an accident 6 years ago that required years of surgery. As my father is retired and depended on Social Security, the accident left him unable to do basic tasks and required him to buy medical gear that was not provided by his insurance. Talisman & Delorenz offered my father a loan on the settlement, upfront, to help with medical bills. Little did my father know, the interest on the loan was 500%. After these lawyers basically gave up on the case, my father sought alternative legal representation, who took the time and care to handle this case and my father was finally able to settle, which means, he also needs to pay back the loan from Talisman at 500%. This is terrible and unethical practice for a company that operates in a lower to middle income neighborhood in Brooklyn. Do better! Additional notes: I am unable to respond back directly to Mr. Abruzzino. Pls note that you would not have a client listed under "Miller" since my father and I do not share the same last name. Additionally, as you noted, while your firm may not have directly loaned the funds to my father, your firm is well aware of these businesses and do little to nothing to advise them against it. As someone in this position, you should do and be better.

Had an accident in May of last year and by August my case was settled. They came highly recommended by my uncle and I'm glad I made the right choice. Staff was very helpful, my lawyer took his time, listened and explained all options..... Couldn't have had a better experience.
