I feel like whenever I had a question, and emailed or called the team, I was treated with respect, dignity, and urgency. I felt as if some of the people I dealt with actually cared, and took my case personal. I do feel like I did alot of the leg work, but that may be outside of my control. I do wish there was a less broken sysem, for my sake, other claimants' sakes, and for the firm's sake. I do feel as if communication could have started earlier, before the actual appeal, to give me more time to prepare and gather documents. I was contacted two weeks prior to the appeal, and feel as if we didn't have enough time to prepare. What stands out most is a phone call I received at 8pm on a Sunday night, from my actual lawyer that attended the hearing with me. I can't remember her name, unfortunately, but to know that she was actually working on my case on a weekend, that late? That made me feel like I was important to her. She was putting in extra time for my case and that is so rare, to feel cared about. Thank you so much. It comes with a big price tag... but so many people need your help with this very sad and broken system. You are doing so many people a huge, much needed service.
