Glen L Houston & Associates

My husband and I hired Glen Houston to represent us on a civil matter recently. However, we never saw any results. We emailed, called, and tried every way in the world to gain communication with the attorney. However, it was virtually impossible. We had won our property back in March of 2020, and in June the party had been held in contempt for not following the courts order and returning said property, however this is Oct 19, 2020, and we have still had no updates, no filing for a Writ of Replevin, nothing. During this time, I had to hire Mr Houston on another matter, a simple assault involving this party who has our property, and we have court on Oct 22, 2020. Well, today I called to try and get some answers about why I have not received any updates, why nothing has been filed in our case, etc, and I was again put on the back burner. Now, this may be petty for some, but when someone's legal bills are in the thousands, and you cannot get any communication, I believe it warrants an explanation. His secretary got a phone call with my husband and me on three way(they didn't know I was on three way), and he simply said if they were too busy to communicate, that maybe we needed to hire someone else? It's been since MID JUNE!!! She must have ran to Mr Houston and told him my husband said he would fire Mr Houston, and then I received an email that Mr Houston was withdrawing from my case that we have trial on on the 22nd, just this Thursday!!!! YET, THEY CANT FILE A WRIT TO GET OUR PROPERTY BACK OR GIVE UPDATES AND ITS BEEN FOUR MONTHS SINCE SHE WAS HELD IN CONTEMPT??? Mr Houston may be a good Lawyer, but the lawyer is only as good as his office help, and they are TERRIBLE!!!

I wish I would have used someone else. Paid everything up front, never was told I owed anything else. 3 years later I get a bill saying I owe an extra 2,000.00 plus. They end charging me for every phone call or question I had, Basically you have to pay to talk to your lawyer even though you already paid him. If I could give him zero stars I would.

My husband hired Mr Houston a couple yrs ago for a workmen comp case although Mr Houston is a good lawyer he lets Rick handle all the cases we have tried to explain to Rick our home needs a lot of repairs and it would be cheaper to buy a new one it's an 80 model but yet he doesn't believe us our air conditioning went out today and we have no money to fix it

Waits 7 yrs to send a bill for something you were told was paid in full. Just wrong.

Will charge you for everything. Misses critical due dates. Will drag out your case for more money.
