The first thing everyone says to you when you say you are getting a divorce is to get an exceptional lawyer. Loren is just that and more; she is a 'shark' in every sense of the word. My ex and his lawyer tried to bully me in certain ways and she just wouldn't let it happen. She was strong for me and helped me find my own strength. She knows the law thoroughly and helps guide you on exactly what you need to do. I found it most helpful that she is honest and upfront with you from the start so your expectation is set from the beginning. I found a lot of comfort in sharing with her what the most important aspects of my divorce were and she told me she would do everything in her power to negotiate for that. It was also great to work with an intelligent woman who has her own children and could relate to what I was going through. It was hard to know how long the process would be from the start because it is not entirely in your hands but I have to say that if you asked me three months ago if I thought I would be divorced in just six months I wouldn't have thought it possible.
