JAG Physical Therapy

I went to Jag PT post surgery and had an excellent experience. Michael Hogan was fantastic! They helped me recover almost 2 months sooner than the doctor expected. My doctor was amazed at the strength of my recovery and immediately allowed me to get back to playing basketball. I highly recommend Jag, and of course, Michael.

Lynn the occupational therapist is amazing and has the patience of a saint. Ethan who helps the therapists with the transitions and exercises is fantastic. I love these guys and feel like home.

The place is nice, clean and front desk staff is very friendly. And that is as far as my positive experience goes. I met with the therapist Daniel. He was knowledgeable and was very nice. The issue is that I only saw him the time of my initial visit. And that was it!! They have too many clients, not enough therapists. And their associates are glued to their laptop and in a hurry to document their notes and no one checks to see if you're making progress or not or even if you're doing your exercises correctly or not. After 4 sessions (I stayed thinking it would get better), I left and found another agency that truly monitors my progress and is helping me get back on my feet. This was MY experience with this place!

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, encouraging, and uplifting. What sets this place apart is not just the professionalism, but the genuine care and passion the staff pours into every patient. First, I want to recognize Mike, the manager, who sets the tone for the entire facility with his leadership and dedication. Under his guidance, the staff truly creates an environment where healing happens--not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. Special props go to Dan, who has worked with me the most. I tell him all the time--he is beyond intelligent. The way he breaks things down theoretically, his deep understanding, and the love and care he brings to every session makes a huge difference. On the days when pain makes me want to stay home, it's his approach that motivates me to come in. He's simply amazing. I also want to highlight Emily, who is equally remarkable. She is caring, highly knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. Her intelligence and skill shine through in the way she supports her patients. Then you have Pat and the rest of the staff--phenomenal in every way. Together, this team creates an environment where even if you walk in feeling discouraged and in pain, you leave feeling like a brand new person. The music, the encouragement, and the professionalism all work together to create a space of healing and hope. My experience with Jag in West Orange has been great. Chris is my OT and he is very knowledgeable and makes me feel at ease. He takes time to explain things and is very patient with me because I was really nervous at first. Everyone is really nice from the front desk to the therapists. I highly recommend Jag.
