I was referred to this law firm by a family friend, with the assurance that while their services were expensive, their efficiency would ultimately save me time and money. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. The attorney assigned to my case demonstrated a lack of competence and initiative, which forced me to step in and handle much of the negotiation process myself. Despite being in litigation for over a year, I often felt I was guiding the case rather than being represented. Although I ultimately negotiated to have my legal fees covered, it became apparent that the firm's approach to negotiation seemed more focused on increasing billable hours than resolving the matter efficiently. This experience was deeply disappointing and only reinforced my skepticism toward the legal profession. I would not feel comfortable recommending this firm based on my personal experience.

He did a fantastic job with accolades from the realtors for discovering the last owner had back taxes he made sure were taken care of prior to purchase. He made sure all required inspections were performed and Jan and his team made sure a 100% clean house purchase. One year later, the individual/company who was the previous owner tried to sue for the house, with a fraudulent claim about a partner and some verbal agreement. Jan handled the legal matter transparently and only laughed and told us not to worry - he handled without any stress and we've lived here for over 20 years - Jan is a great experienced attorney you want on your side the whole time through. Jan did not charge for handling the previous owner's nuisance suit, he said it was part of the original deal. Thank you Jan Meyer and team for your research and handling of our house purchase, being local also helped with your office 2 miles away. You did a complimented fantastic job and I apologize for writing this review so late. I'm retaining you again today for the house sale in this seller's market once the contract is signed, thanks again!

I gave him 1 star because there is nothing lower. Not happy at all with his work. Did not keep me informed of what was going on. Personally, I do not feel he was very professional. I would NEVER use him again. He is the reason attorneys have the reputation they have.
