I contacted this firm to assist with a serious legal matter. Upon doing my research I was reassured by several other seasoned lawyers not to worry because this firm is TOP NOTCH! As soon as I met with Steven Wolff I knew I was in good hands. He showed up to court prepared, knowledgeable and CONFIDENT! Fast forward almost an entire year later, but worth the wait.... This firm really is the best!

Came to Dennis Shlionsky after a bad fall that led to surgery. I already had a prior condition, and I was living with a disability before this ever happened and I was worried no one would take me seriously or see the full picture of what this new injury meant for my life. Dennis did. He didn't talk around things or make empty promises. When he said he'd handle something, he did. When he needed something from me, he told me why it mattered. The thing that really stayed with me was the way he actually listened even when my situation was complicated. He didn't treat my prior injury like an excuse or a way to minimize what I was going through. He looked at the whole of me. His team worked the same way. I didn't have to fight to be believed or explain myself over and over. They made a difficult experience feel manageable, and that alone meant a lot. I cannot share the details of my case or the result, except to say that it changed my life. And the way Dennis and his team handled everything is something I will always be grateful for.

Do not use this law firm unless you want a team of people that will take your money and not do what you pay them for. Shame on you, Patty. She got promoted after I had hired her and stuck me with the new girl on maternity leave who did absolutely nothing for me. She did take my money and would answer my emails after payments but $20,000 for a motion and now they want an additional $17,000? And nothing has changed. These people are straight up criminals which is why they have such a poor reviews. Always read reviews my friends! The good ones need to stick together. This law firm needs to be shut down. Shame on them. I am deeply saddened by the heartlessness of this office.

My mother passed away 10 years ago and trusted Gary Botwinick to help handle her affairs. Unfortunately, she is no longer here to protect her children, and in my experience, Mr. Botwinick has acted more like a bully than a professional. When I raised concerns as a beneficiary of the trust, I received a letter from him that felt aggressive, intimidating, and more like an attempt to silence me than to resolve anything--especially hurtful while still dealing with the loss. What made it worse is that it appears the legal fees for that letter may have been taken directly from the trust, effectively reducing my inheritance so he could threaten me. I can't say with 100% certainty the funds came from the trust, but the tone and content of the letter suggest that may have been the case. I understand attorneys have a job to do, but clients deserve to know how this firm may treat grieving beneficiaries. Ask very clear questions upfront--about communication, conflict handling, and billing--so you're not blindsided later. In my experience, I felt bullied, not supported.
