I was in a car accident as a passenger for work meeting. Injured my left hand and back but was also suffering from PTSD where I'd be afraid of being a passenger and attempt to press brakes even if I'm not the one driving. My primary insurance wasn't covering medical claiming that it was workers comp and workers comp doctors dreaded surgery and treatment for months. I had incurred some out of pocket expenses which company has promised to help pay but never did. Someone suggested reaching out to Sima. She assured me that I'd continue to get treatment and the workers comp will reimburse me not just for expenses but also for disability and suffering. It was a very lengthy process and at times I did get impatient however she kept telling me to be patient and take care of my health and wellbeing first. She managed to get settlement for me and when I was still experiencing symptoms worsening, she helped reopen and got me a second settlement. She's very good at what she does and is empathetic which is what one needs beyond anything else when going through injury and having to live with disability.
