This was my first time needing legal representation, and I was completely unfamiliar with the process. I entered into a paid in full Retainer Agreement with Mr. Leonard Cohen on Mon., June 30th and on Wed., July 2nd, I terminated the same because despite initial representation(s) that I could reach out to him anytime, he neither acknowledged nor responded to emails or text messages. Literally every time that I called his office, I was told he was in court. I maintain this was a tactic of avoidance. Last but not least is Alyssa Rivera, who I found to have traits and characteristics common with individuals with poor people skills. Rather than engage in a rendition of facts, I will simply say, I DO NOT recommend Mr. Leonard Cohen for Marital Law matters.

Worst lawyer ever!! Please don't pay him $3,500 retaining cost!! He doesn't do anything to deserve it!! We just lost custody of my granddaughter 5 years old to her father just bc his school district was better than ours in Kearny NJ. No matter that her mother is a hard working mother full time student living with all accommodations at my own house!sad time to our family
