Worst service every for immigration services, this law office should be investigated for scamming hard people that come from different parts of the world trying to do things right and properly for petition for family members all they ever do just take your money and tell you that the paper work is in process and after couple months you would think things are getting done but instead they said that the process is finish and scam out of 20,000 it's not fair my father has been coming to this office for over 15 years and upgraded to 3 different office to tell us now that the paper work got lost in transit to the Colombian embassy and no response just ignore you. I even had a personal issue where they were suppose to represent me but instead of that morning of my citizenship appointment that lawyer claimed that the person coming to represent me got her car broken into her car and never gave me an eta or if someone else would come to represent but instead just hung up the phone lucky I was able to speak to the security and represent my self mind you my appointment was at 7am but because I waited I ended waste the whole day and leaving after 3pm it's was very inconvenient. once I receive my citizenship i immediately called to request refund since I represent my self and at 1st they refused to return but I told them technically I didn't use there service because no one from their office came to represent me and after a while she gave in but this office is a huge scam and people should stay away I'm sure there's many more people that got scammed and screwed but don't probably afraid to speak up they never want to give an answer all they tell you is that they did there part and it all has to do with the embassy and not them. I'm truly gutted by the acts of this lawyer, I actually should say the lack of effort she put into my mom's case. My mom has been with this lawyer for YEARS! Time and money spent for an opportunity to remain in this country just for her case to not even be glanced at. My mom was detained by ICE at an immigration appointment in Newark. When everything occurred my mom called me and immediately directed me to her lawyer and to call and inform her of what happened so she could come help. When I called her secretary answered and instead of hearing about the situation the first sentence out of her mouth was that I needed to make an appointment for $250 and to continue the case it would be $5000. I thought to myself "what the heck????" I drive over to Liliana office which was maybe a 15 minute drive from the immigration office in Newark. And she wouldn't attend me because she was busy with other clients. The following day I arrived and had to wait 3 hours in her waiting room, when I was finally attended after what seemed like forever, her secretary was beyond disrespectful. While I'm trying to speak to this woman about the crisis my family is in, her secretary kept coming in every 5 seconds interrupting about other cases. Not only was her secretary ignorant and disrespectful Liliana herself was on a FaceTime call with another client of hers while we are there speaking about our case. She had hundreds of files on her desk and clearly she is way in over her head and doesn't know how to manage her work load. My mother had hope that this woman could help especially when she needed it the most but this woman couldn't give a shlt about her. She didn't even know my mother's name. She kept saying Angela this and Angela that, my mother's name is ANGELICA! Soon after I left her office I knew she wasn't going to help. She told me my mom's case was a lost cause and there was nothing we could do. The sad reality is that I believed her. I was in such a moment of distress I took her word, why? Because I thought, she studied this clearly she works in this field and because I decided to also trust this woman, my family is now separated. I contacted other lawyers soon after and one after another they all told me my mother's lawyer did not care about my mother case because there was so much she could've done. The other lawyers I contacted also had a lot to say about Miss Liliana Quiroz; the said they have had many clients from her office come to them to start new cases because they saw no progress with her, also saying that Liliana is known to be difficult to contact and reach. The other lawyers told me she (Liliana) could've went down herself or filed a habeas corpus, etc. but no! She didn't want to do the dirty work all she wanted was a fast paycheck. My mom is now in Honduras and I'll be filing her case with another lawyer. Her incompetence and lack of care and judgement are contributors to the problem we are facing as a family. Please look elsewhere if you actually are looking for success in any of your cases.
