Worst experience with a "so called" law office that I ever had. The first issue, one month in the relationship, was that Mr. King returned no calls or emails. I tried to release him then. He convinced me to stay. Found out today that he told the opposing attorney six weeks ago that he would call them back that week. Never happened then and never called since. Tried to reach him the last two weeks by phone and email. NO REPLY. Sent a note firing him today. He immediately responded and said "he understood," and as an excuse told me his other cases increased in scope, and was sending me $2000 of my $2500 retainer, keeping $500 for work he did. WHAT A RIP OFF. I am back to square one three months after retaining Thomas R. King, Esq, LLC. Because he was MIA the entire time. Now, I am being taken to court on a matter that could have potentially been resolved with communication and negotiation. Spent wasted hours providing documents to Mr. King, again with no reply. This was like taking $500 and burning it and then getting thrown under a bus. BUYER BEWARE.

Unresponsive. I was referred through the website Unbundled Legal Help, had an initial call where I was told I'd be called back later that day. But that callback never came. I followed up nearly every day for a week without response. Finally I moved onto a lawyer that didn't waste my time the way Thomas King's office wasted my time.

I have worked with Tom King for many years and he has been very helpful with advising me on later stages after my divorce. He knows his stuff and is always available to discuss any issues.
