We initially worked with Joe to set up my father's revocable trust, during which he repeatedly attempted to upsell us on additional services. When we later activated the power of attorney and sought to establish an irrevocable trust for my father's long-term care, Joe's attitude shifted dramatically. Instead of guiding us through this sensitive process with professionalism and care, he was suspicious, dismissive, and uncooperative. His lack of engagement and support caused unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. A good estate planner should act as a trusted advisor--Joe did not. If you're looking for someone who takes a holistic and client-focused approach to estate planning, I strongly recommend finding a more compassionate and service-oriented professional.
