Attorney Tess Farley and team were absolutely amazing helping me through a petition to partition case with my ex. I knew this was not going to be an easy case to take, and the team rose to the occasion with an incredible passion and dedication through to the conclusion (and even after). Made a decision to move existing estate plans to Shaheen & Gordon for future execution, regular updates, and to finish a couple of documents for final disposal. The initial video conference with Chris gave a promising impression of the firm for a transfer, then future handling of the estate. The initial meeting occurred on August 19. Within a two day period draft documents were emailed for review, and a corresponding "thank you" received for sending the documents. Dropped off the original estate plan documents with Gina on August 21 for storing in their secure facilities. Waited.... and waited... until September 12, when we reached out to Gina by telephone asking if the draft documents had been prepared, to finish the estate plan package. The response was; "I'll check with Chris to see if there is something I need to do and get back to you." Additionally during the period of unknown, we sent email to Gina for information on another matter she briefly discussed when we met initially. There was also an email sent to inquire on the status of the two draft documents. Neither email received a reply. No response, no return call, no message.. nothing. On October 1, we requested and retrieved the originals to move forward; with another firm. Six (6) weeks and zero communication from Shaheen & Gordon. After receiving the originals back from Shaheen & Gordon, it was clear that the originals were reviewed, as expected. As delivered to Shaheen & Gordon, the estate planning package was extremely organized, orderly, and in a quality envelope from the prior firm. Once opened to review the originals, it appeared that a *child* had shuffled the estate planning documents like a "deck of cards." Wow... Not a good experience. Fortunately, with copies of the originals, the documents were verified, properly organized, and ready for a better experience; somewhere else.

I've called Shaheen and Gordon twice in the past two months. Both times I was told the intake people were busy and they would call me back. The first time no one called me after a week so I called back and was told again someone would call me...no one ever did so I called again a week later. The second time I was actually able to talk to intake who said a lawyer would reach out with whether or not they could take my case. This was weeks ago and no one has reached out to me from either intake or a lawyer themselves. Too hard to get representation.

The team was super helpful with an injury claim in my family. They explained the steps, were very responsive, and helped us make the decisions along the way. Highly recommend!
