Client
Amber Handy is a bold faced liar. She lied on an official court document - a Motion For Continuance filed in our Douglas County Small Claims court case. She asked for a last minute continuance (I received the email after arriving in court, minutes before the scheduled start of our trial). She wrote that she was "still stuck in Phoenix" attending the American Bar Association annual conference. I didn't trust her, so I called the ABA headquarters in Chicago, IL and learned that she did NOT attend the conference. Absolutely did not register or attend conference, from the reliable source of the ABA. Amber Handy also submitted a copy of her Southwest Airlines boarding pass to court to "prove" she was in Phoenix, but carelessly revealed on the screenshot that her phone was in Pacific Time Zone, not Arizona Time Zone (1 hour difference at that time of year.) To think an attorney would actually do this just to skip out of a small claims court appointment is astonishing, as I would assume this behavior could get her disbarred. At least we live in a world where reviews can impact one's reputation in the community. If you require further details, please email me. I am not joking and neither was she when she lied to the court. No comment on her legal acumen, so if you want a lawyer who doesn't mind lying to get ahead, well maybe you can hire her. Her clients that we faced in court and definitely lying, scheming, and deceptive. They took $7,100 from us and performed no work: Altitude Fire Protection Services of Minden, NV.
