Stay away from Sbaih, You want a lawyer who is motivated by justice not money. Im an honest 30 year old from the midwest, I've had 7 cases in my life: (2 closed injury, 1 open civil, 1 closed education, 3 closed misdemeanor) this is not included in that list. Do not hire Jesse Sbaih particularly if you have a serious high stake matter. He is not capable of being timely and diligent at the same time. In my instance, he misquoted a defamatory statement on a cease and desist resulting in the statement getting 2x exposure due to the recipient thinking it was a mocking matter rather than a serious one. The state bar has been extremely sympathetic, however, Jesse does not concur that, correctly quoting a defamatory statement on a cease and desist is quintessential to the recipient interpreting the document as a serious matter. (yes, even after I showed him the screenshots of the recipient mocking his work to a crowd larger than the statement was originally shared with!) I called the bar, they said, hey the first step is for you to try and work something out with him. And Jesse's compromise to hearing that was telling me "Tell them I said I provided the service" (now, imagine your back is injured and this guy is your advocate and starts pulling comments like that! YIKES!!!) I explained to Jesse that I clearly never claimed he did not provide the service and that I believed that he was making a shoddy attempt to distract from the obvious reality of his mistake by implying that I said no service was provided. ALWAYS call around to multiple attorneys. Particularly if you have not been in many suits and have a high stakes situation. I was in a pinch for time, it was a small low stake matter, so I trusted the state bar who "sent a boy to a man's job" I literally could have typed it myself and had better results. Unlike Jesse Sbaih, I re-read my work for review and would have not misquoted the defamatory statement like a complete Amateur. It is wrong, but Jesse won't be wasting anytime reviewing things over with clients, he will not re-read his work, he will dispatch it straight to the subject, original errors and all! (Yes, all for the sake of getting more time to look for another guy who has yet to give the $$$. This is what happens when you have the wrong motivation!) Jesse, (relegated, to lawyering), would be the LAST man I would recommend my loved ones call, particularly if I or someone I love was ever seriously injured in a collision. The situation was entirely avoidable but failed senatorial candidate Jesse Sbaih lacked passion and diligence in his work! That same lack of diligence resulted in me not being given an opportunity to spot the amateur mistake before it being dispatched without my review. God only knows the damage this guy could do if provided the opportunity to work a serious high stake case! (Problems compounding, one causing the next, all originating from a lack of diligence, its a disaster waiting to happen, not for jesse tho, the disaster will belong to you and your family!) I advise anyone considering paying for services to: "Stay away from Sbaih, He's got no passion"

I received a cease and desist letter from Jesse Sbaih and Associates claiming I defamed his client. I concluded from the letter that either Sbaih has no idea what defamation is, or he hoped I would fold my constitutional right to free speech to legal bullying. I found the letter to be legally insufficient and this law firm to be an amateur operation. The ridiculous letter saying I would be sued for over $500,000 if I did not remove an online statement misquoted me, making it nonsensical. I cannot fathom how my comment would rise to defamation had Sbaih bothered to copy and paste it accurately. The scheme backfired spectacularly for Sbaih and his client. After receiving the threatening letter, I immediately published it on social media, where it gained over 20,000 views and was widely mocked. Several observers noted that Sbaih failed so badly here that he did not even appear to know the difference between libel and slander. It started an educational online free speech discussion. A few minutes of research would have revealed that I am a free speech advocate and defamation law expert. I testified to the Nevada Assembly Judiciary Committee on the topic. I participated in the 2015 anti-SLAPP (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation) law amendment discussion when Nevada needed to change clear and convincing to the prima facie evidentiary standard due to a ruling by the Washington Supreme Court on a similar law in that state. Speaking of anti-SLAPP laws, this case would be disastrous for Sbaih and his client if it moved forward. I feel it would be one of the most frivolous defamation lawsuits in Nevada history and would be punished accordingly under the state's anti-SLAPP law. All Nevadans are immune from frivolous speech-related lawsuits under NRS 41.650. When a court finds a speech-related lawsuit meritless, it is immediately struck. Under this ruling, the plaintiff must pay all the defendant's legal fees. A judge may impose additional damages of up to $10,000 under NRS 41.670. A separate action may be brought by the defendant of the SLAPP suit for compensatory damages, punitive damages, attorney's fees, and the costs of bringing the separate action. I feel an ethical lawyer would have refused to sign their name to a letter like this and instead would have encouraged the client to have a civil discussion with the other side to resolve it. I think unethical lawyers see this type of frivolous letter writing as an opportunity for a billable hour at the expense of the First Amendment. Keep all this in mind if you are thinking about retaining Sbaih. If he blew this situation so badly, what will he do with yours?

Jessie Sbaih is one of the nicest person I have ever met in the professional world. He's down to earth, he makes you feel very comfortable and is very thorough in his work. The most important thing was his genuine concern for my mother's well being!

Exorbitantly expensive prices for a one-page letter he would like $1,000. And there is no guarantee that he will be successful. Sad. The average hourly rate for a lawyer in Nevada is between $100 and $478 per hour. So let's say he charges $478 per hour so he needs over 2 hours for a one-page letter. I'm typing with the speed of 63 WPM. The letter full one-page will be 300 words, let's say 600 words. So 10 minutes of work for $1,000. Nice, I'm gonna be a lawyer now :-)
