I'm really thankful to Mr. Kerry and his assistant Ms. Perla for handling my divorce case. They were so patient with all my questions and guided me through every step. I also really appreciated how affordable they are. I'd definitely recommend their services to anyone. My case was finished faster and easier than I expected, and they even gave me a refund which was amazing. So I call this "top-tier," 4.9-star law firm today--because naturally, when you're in the middle of a 15-year marriage collapsing, you expect some level of professionalism. Silly me. Their intake specialist--who reminds me of someone trained to sound helpful without actually being helpful--asks what's going on. I explain. He assures me they're all "very knowledgeable," but somehow that knowledge evaporates unless I pay $200 to talk to the attorney. Fascinating. So I ask to speak with the paralegal. Suddenly, the paralegal is "completely booked." Alright. Fine. I ask, very clearly, for Tuesday or Wednesday--my actual days off, which I emphasized multiple times. And what does he do? Insists on Thursday. Over and over. As if repeating the wrong answer will magically make it right. I say I work in law enforcement, my schedule isn't flexible, I can't just step away on a Thursday. He responds by offering... you guessed it... Thursday, like it's the only day on the planet and I'm the unreasonable one. Amazing how a firm can brag about being "highly rated" while simultaneously demonstrating their inability to perform the advanced skill known as listening. Exactly what everyone needs during a divorce--another person who can't hear a single thing you say while feelibg overwhelmed, sad, broken, and gone inside. Thanks for wasting my time.
