We had heard good things about this firm, but overall our experience with Mr. Waite was very negative and unprofessional. I do not recommend his services. The firm was inconsistent on returning calls and emails. Other law firms we have worked with were more responsive and available, quicker to answer questions, and the fees were lower. Mr. Waite filed to be removed from our case during the final stages of the settlement agreement. He informed the opposing council and our co-plaintiff but *he did not bother to tell us that he intended to step down as our lawyer*, causing confusion and stress. When we had questions about billing, Mr. Waite charged us for the time to discuss the bill which we understand is not the norm.

I had a disappointing experience with this legal firm. Their communication was extremely slow, to the point where it felt like they were hardly responsive at all. They missed some important deadlines. Their rates were generally quite a bit higher than others in their market. What's worse, they actually charged us for the time spent discussing billing concerns, which was quite frustrating. Overall, I would not recommend this law firm based on my experience.

Avoid this firm. Mr. Waite and his team were ultimately ineffective, expensive, and very slow with communication. Some deadlines were rushed or missed because he was not paying attention. At a crucial juncture in the case, Mr. Waite refused to answer our questions and instead used sarcasm to criticize our opinions and decisions. Very unprofessional, unhelpful, and discourteous.

I've been a lawyer for 20 years in Denver. I hired Pat Heng to handle a legal issue. He's very likable over the phone, and he got the result we wanted, but (in my opinion and experience) incredibly rude and lazy about keeping in touch and returning texts and phone calls. I thought I might be entitled to a modicum of professional courtesy as a fellow lawyer, and I rarely contacted him, but it was like moving mountains to get this guy to even respond via text (even a simple yes or no). It was very disappointing to see from a fellow lawyer = especially one that you're paying.

This law firm does not look out for their clients, they drag their feet charging you for unnecessary things. If they happen to know the opposing attorney in a case they go behind your back and make settlements with other side and hang you out to dry. They will request that all legal fees be paid before a trial bcuz they already sold you out and want to make sure they get their money bcuz during trial and after when you realize what just happened they aren't likely to get any more money out of you. I would not recommend this firm at all. They are crooked as the letter "S" and then some . Save your time and money go to someone who actual cares about their clients and not just money.
