Wayne Gifford Attorney

Do not use Wayne as a lawyer. We paid him the beginning of Jan for our case. He told us it would take two weeks to file it. So we waited for two weeks to see if he has filed it, nope he never filed it. Let's just say he lost our file for 3 months. So we called him and walked into his office and he had us fill out the taxes paper. Told us he would file it on a Wednesday. Wednesday came never filed. Told us he would work on it this past weekend we called Monday 3-31-25 and he never worked on it his wife had other plans. So he wasted 3 months and our money. His office is trashed. You can't even stand or sit. Go too a lawyer that cares about you and your case and your child that's in danger

Wayne has been a great lawyer and friend to me. He even took it upon himself to check on why I was on the docket on something I had not told him about and thank goodness he did. The circuit clerks office told me I had a continuance and did not tell the Judge. Everything he has told me has been spot on.

I was not impressed when I went to have a consultation. The office is an absolute disaster. Papers and boxes everywhere - which I'm sure is some sort of violation. I could have easily picked up any paper and possibly got someone's information. There is hardly a place to sit... I went to fir for information in adoption and felt like I was judged and he didn't seem to know much on the subject (legally) he also isn't the most polite person. I have sought out representation elsewhere.

Called to get an initial quote and talk, instead got critiqued and judged harshly. Didn't put any effort out aside from telling me how bad my traffic record was. Would not recommend.

Good attorney. Great story teller. A little bit hard to get ahold of but no worse than most other lawyers.
