Ken represented me on a case where I was being charged with resisting arrest by Ozark Police Department. From the start he was warm and understanding which made it easier to open up about the details of the case. He reached out and talked to me in length several times over the course of time it took to take it to trial. He never encouraged me to take a plea but was supportive in my steadfast request to take it to trial. I opted to participate in a bench trial and was at ease when the day finally arrived because of Ken's confident nature and expertise. Because of his line of questioning and persistence when questioning the officer on the stand he was able to get the officer to admit under oath that I may have been merely trying to sit up rather that the officers interpretation of me trying to resist arrest which was the deciding factor that the judge used to find me not guilty! Kyle Kent was appointed to be my public defender on a case in Taney County. He did such an outstanding job there i actually hired him to represent me for a probation violation case in Greene county.
