Joseph Scott helped me through a difficult divorce and guardianship case, and I can't recommend him enough. He showed real compassion for all of my children--whether still at home or already grown--and always considered how the process would affect them. He gave clear advice, knew the court system inside and out, and was great about working with me to keep costs down. He even set up a fair payment plan, which made things so much easier. Joseph was incredibly helpful in my divorce case! He helped make what could have been a painful process so much easier. I always understood exactly what was going on, he explained things in a way that wasn't a bunch of legal jargon, and I always felt in the loop on when important dates were happening. He and his team were easy to get ahold of for questions and their portal made sending and receiving documents so easy. Joseph was kind but gritty when needed. If you are looking for justice, go elsewhere...this guy blocked me at the door with the "Time is money" and "make an appointment so I can get paid"comment instead of giving me a few minutes of his free time to help a person in need. I am so disappointed. May of 2024 I came to Joseph with an issue regarding my son and an elementary school principal who had injured him by dragging him across the floor. The administration and school police buried it as fast as they could. His injury resulted in the need for medical attention. I even had other school staff members willing to stand up and share conversations that were had regarding this, since the principal himself admitted to them he lost his patience. Joseph gave me hope that there could be some sort of justice in what happened. A demand (or settlement?) letter was sent and rejected. After this last summer I reached out looking for an update, as the last I was told we were pursuing it in court. I never received the decency of a phone call back, but I received a letter. The letter stated the school was slow at responding and that he(Joseph) didn't have the time to pursue it. The letter also stated he could send out a demand letter as a last try. So. He either doesnt remember already sending one, or perhaps he never did. He ended it with stating he still thought I had a case and recommended other lawyers. So over a year later I have to start over thanks to him. His kindness and determination over this case appears to be nothing more then a fake front since he can just discard my case by sending a letter over a year later. It honestly appears he just forgot about it and decided not to do it since months passed without a word. Don't waste your time. Thanks Joseph Scott for wasting my time regarding this matter!!

He is by far the most outstanding and humble lawyer I've ever had to work with.
