When I was looking for an atty I relied on reviews, Kristen had a lengthy bad review but I wrote it off as a disgruntled client. BIG mistake, as that Google review is no longer visible (possibly she paid to have it removed- but the same review is still on Avvo). Kristen provides absolute horrible communication- I was able to get most updates through Casenet or through the other party. Her paralegal never had much information when I called. Most of her reviews mention lack of communication- (other than the recent beefed-up review in the beginning of June 2025 known to the paralegal-even with a response from "Kristen"!). I had a few time sensitive questions, yet to get any legal advice she is booked out a week+.

contrary to other reviews i thought Kristen's communication was very timely. She addressed any concerns i had and informed me throughout the entire process as i was unfamiliar with how the process worked for divorce. both her and her paralegal were very friendly and supportive, i would definitely recommend Kristen to anyone!

Absolutely horrible representation- her communication is non-existent and her paralegal is not informed so good luck getting any updates. She missed the deadline to settle my case before the trial date- emailing me on a Sunday evening (which she never does) because she must have forgot the trial was the following week. Our settlement was not signed and sent in time- even missing an email from the judge (which is public access on Casenet) so the opposing parties attorney had to request the trial be pushed out 45 days...which caused the other party to raise more issues and me to pay more fees to come to ANOTHER settlement. The judgement was finally signed...and I had to email and call several times to receive my unused fees of $2566. 45 days AFTER judgement Buzzelli finally issued me a check but only after I threatened to go to the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel. I should have never hired her based on her reviews...which one in particular she must have paid to get it removed. I look forward Ms Buzzelli to your caddy response...

Kristen Buzzelli did a fantastic job representing me through a very difficult, emotional divorce with two children involved. It went to trial due to mediation being unsuccessful (only 5% of divorces go to trial). I originally selected Kristen based on her past social work and current family law experience. I found her to be a great listener, empathetic, supportive, patient, understanding, honest and real even when it was hard to hear as the client. Kristen is a very ambitious lawyer determined to represent her clients to the fullest of her abilities to get the best outcome possible. For any legal needs I have in the future, I will definitely hire Kristen Buzzelli!
