Client
I contacted this firm using their "24 hour line" and my call was returned by Paul Katz himself. We had a brief discussion and had made a verbal agreement to meet at his office at 10 am Tuesday morning. Upon arriving at his law firms office 20 minutes early to be polite and to allow for paperwork, I secured my parking meter and found the office to be empty. I then contacted the "24 hour line" posted on the door and received a receptionist who promptly forwarded my arrival message to Mr Katz. He promptly returned my call only to tell me that he wouldn't be able to make our appointment as he was busy in court. What followed was him trying to reschedule the meeting for 12 pm, 2 hours later. And when I began to ask about our scheduled meeting, at which point he interrupted me and told me, "I will see you at 12." This was an in person meet for a simple traffic ticket scheduled at 10 am on a Tuesday, to put it in context, I am missing out of work for this thinking I'm going to handle business. This has been a waste of time. I will likely continue to stay out of trouble, and if a reason would arise that would require me to seek legal counsel in the future, I will avoid this firm. I hope my review has helped you make an informed decision.
