If you are looking for an attorney, it can be an overwhelming experience. We took a chance with Mr. Chuck Bordis based on a referral and some initial conversations. We had the very best experience and courtroom outcome. He basically put on a class in the courtroom and really dominated the opposing attorney. Extremely knowledgeable and an excellent communicator!! We were so glad we had him on our side! If you are looking for an attorney, he is one of the best!

I hired Chuck Bordis to take on my case, which cost me $2,500, with $1,500 due upfront. While we won the case, I didn't feel that he fought for my interests. His secretary frequently forgot to inform me about court dates, often notifying me just the day before. I left numerous messages, but I rarely received a call back. This forced me to drive to his office just to have a conversation with him. On the day of court, our meetings felt more like a quick refresher for him rather than a comprehensive strategy session. I noticed that Bordis and the opposing lawyer seemed overly friendly, which raised concerns about his commitment to my case. My Ex-Husband's lawyer and Bordis agreed to change visitation arrangements and slipped that into a document for me to sign without properly explaining the implications. This occurred without my knowledge and consent. After the case, he mentioned he would refund me $1,000 since my ex lost and was responsible for paying my legal fees. However, I had to persistently call his office to retrieve my own money. Eventually, he did give me the $1,000. When my ex decided to take me back to court, I made the choice to use Bordis again due to his familiarity with my situation. To my surprise, he brought up that he wouldn't be refunding any money and that the fee to take my case would be $3,000. This struck me as unprofessional and indicated that he was holding a grudge over the previous $1,000. I confronted him about it, and shortly thereafter, his office informed me that Chuck Bordis could not take my case. This behavior was unacceptable.

My dad passed and I couldn't get his inheritance from my brothers while I was going through a divorce. Chuck bordis told me he would do them both but only took the more lucrative case. He had the divorce for 6 months and told me he wouldn't take the divorce after her attorney served me fake papers at my house tho get his name which I have recorded and unfortunately must go to the state board with. He kept the $900 I had already paid for the divorce by manipulation saying that a process would take place where I would owe more and get money back. I checked how much every one got and it was a lie. I don't mean anything spiteful this is simply God's honest truth and when I was going through the hardest time of my life he stole $900 from me

We hired Chuck Bordeis to represent a child we have custody of in an adoption of her sibling. He didn't show up for court and gave no prior communication. The judge called him in court and had to leave him a voicemail. He called the judge back and the judge announced in the middle of court that Bordeis was withdrawing from our case. He gave zero communication prior to the hearing, no formal notice, no motion to withdrawal. He took our money and left us to represent ourselves in the court room. He never went to court with us, filed 3 motions total and hasn't returned any of our money. He came highly recommended to us by a mutual acquaintance and we are appalled and the lack of unprofessionalism. Be careful hiring attorneys in this area. They're all upside down, especially this one and Chip Herrington. Save your money, review your contract, and watch out for red flags.

Mr. Bordis helped me through a divorce about 9 years ago. He was professional, ethical and made sure that decisions were made in the best interest of my family and my daughter. My ex-husband and I were able to come to agreements that were fair and reasonable. Today, we are both happier apart, and I am thankful for Mr. Bordis and his approach to my case.
