Baucum Law Firm, PLLC

Was assigned Mr. Baucum as a GAL in my custody case. He did not contact not one of my friends or family members. I have two friends whom currently have different GALs who have contacted all their friends and family not once, but multiple times. Made multiple home visits, etc. Mr Baucum came to my home one time for approximately 6 minutes. According to my ex, he stayed in his home for just a few minutes as well and didn't even go into each room. If he had, he'd have had plenty of evidence that he was breaking a court order. Every time I tried to reach out to him, he was out of the country on vacation. Never heard anything back once he returned. $1,000 completely down the drain.

Update: 9/17 we have still not heard a word. So frustrating! Zeke, you are representing our family member and neglecting to do your job. She has Alzheimer's and we have contacted your office many times letting you know she needs an advocate to help with this situation as her condition is much worse. That advocate is you. You were hired to represent her. This is pure negligence. 8/14 My Mother and I met with Zeke regarding a family member. I could not rave enough about what a kind, compassionate, and relatable atty he was. There has been one consistent problem. You cannot get the man to call back. I have left multiple voicemails and a message with the receptionist for him to call. We were expecting a followup call the following day (per his words) and it has now been two months. I'm so disappointed. When time is of the essence and we are told things will happen rapidly, we are trusting that. We do not even know if anything has been done since we met. I hope others have had a better experience. This isn't to say all of his cases are treated this way. But in my opinion he has neglected his job on this client.

Mr. Baucum is a wonderful asset to our community! He has been so helpful to my husband and I as we get our wills in order. We will definitely use him for any legal matters we might have in the future!

What has been a stressful project in the past, will drafting became a peace of mind with Zeke's assistance. No one likes to think about dying. Zeke also provides the essential resources & tools for small business startups. Whether it was reviewing employee handbooks or registering with my state, starting my LLC was a breeze.
