Christopher Kittell doesn't actually work on contingency. He requires a $500 upfront fee just to review your case. This is apparently to "prove" you believe your case is valid enough to fight for, which means if you live below the poverty line and don't have $500 just laying around, you don't get the privilege of his elitist services. Apparently people that are already struggling with staying afloat should not have representation because they are poor, especially when having representation would help to bring them out of said situation as they are being wronged, hence why they are seeking counsel. Mr. Kittell doesn't represent the underserved. Only those who can pay upfront. Only the privileged. Not the underserved.
