Avoid working with this man at all costs. He will be counter productive to your case, as he has his own goals he looks towards while he is supposedly working on your case. On top of that, he will wait until quite literally the last minute (the day of the court date) to perform any actions or even discuss your case. He also has no real care for the child's best interest much like another said. His receptionist is also extremely rude unless you are paying them. Avoid at all cost!

Just like the other review posted, Thomas Sweat has given my husband the run around for nearly 3 years! He's not interested in the child's best interest, refuses documents from the Natural Born Father, videos of near abuse from restaurants from pick up points, and yet. favors the third party guardians who are not related in any way. Tom has had since November 2017 to travel to Florida to do a home study on my husband. He's referred a third party Home Study group and then refused to use that information in court, noting that he needed to travel to Florida himself. Tom has made every excuse in the book imaginable to not travel to Florida but can make time to travel to the Florida Keys and still refuse to stop at our home, that you must pass right by our home to get there. Tom has taken our money, the other parties money and has not done his job. It's not that he hasn't done it correctly, it's that he hasn't done it at all, then sends both of the parties in the case a bill totaling nearly $11,000.00 but cant prove he did the work on the case. He's tried to take my daughter who looks nothing like the child in question while in the court room and that makes me wonder if he's ever met with the child in question. Tom is all about money and not the greater good of a child. Tom should follow the law but he doesn't! Tom should retire or resign off our current custody case! He's biased!! If I went to work for three years and didn't perform my job, I would be fired! Why hasn't he been fired or resigned off the case?

He is as worthless as can be. All he is worried about is getting paid. He was suppose to be an advocate for our children in our case and did no such justice. He spent maybe 15 minutes hearing our concerns and merely even appeared to listen to what we were saying. We even tried to show him picture evidence that he just shrugged off. Now it has been well over a year since their mother took off with them (following his opinion to return them to her care)and refuses to let us see them despite a court order. I assume draining a fathers bank account while attempting to do right by his children is more important than actually ensuring that the children are actually placed in a home with a loving parent who can actually provide the child with necessities and a stable, decent life. I hope he can sleep well at night.
