We have worked with Michael and his team in various issues over almost 2 decades. Years in family court and most recently when we reached back to him following a car accident that changed our lives more than we could have ever imagined. Michael reached back right away and for the past year and a half has provided us with unconditional support, guidance, and advise. Michael always goes above and beyond his duty as an attorney. He doesn't rush you, he is patient when you are not, he is caring and honest. Michael was transparent about the process from the very beginning and him and his team kept us updated every step of the way. He is very knowledgeable, and a strong negotiator. We are very thankful to Michael and his team for their professionalism, attention to detail, expertise, hard work and the excellent customer service they have provided to us throughout the years. We will always be thankful to Michael for going above and beyond and for being a caring, compassionate, kind and incredible person helping someone through a very diffucult time in their lives.
Thank you Michael, Vicky and the whole PCG Team!

Michael assisted me with my divorce and made a scary situation so much easier to navigate. He and his team were always responsive to my inquiries. He stepped me through the entire process, and did it in such a way that it put me at ease and answered all my questions. The divorce was resolved via mediation in a timely manner, with an outcome that I was satisfied with. I highly recommend PCG Law, and especially Michael!

In one of the most difficult times our family has ever faced, Michael from PCG Law stepped in--not just as an attorney, but as a source of guidance, integrity, and compassion. I originally reached out to him with just a few questions about legal charges, and to my surprise and deep gratitude, he graciously offered to represent my son.
Throughout the entire process, Michael was completely transparent and kept us informed every step of the way. Even when the evidence against my son was overwhelming, he fought hard and successfully negotiated a plea agreement. More than that, Michael never judged our family. He treated us with genuine kindness and respect, and he encouraged my son to take responsibility and grow from this experience.
Words can't express how thankful I am for what Michael did for us. His professionalism, empathy, and dedication have made an unforgettable impact. I wholeheartedly recommend Michael and PCG Law to anyone in need of a skilled, honest, and compassionate attorney.

Ross Montgomery
I hired Ross to represent me in a legal matter with my ex-wife. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
Preparation & Professionalism
Ross's lack of preparation showed in multiple instances. While he was responsive during negotiations, the details of my case were repeatedly overlooked or asked multiple times. This gave me little confidence that he was handling my situation carefully.
At mediation, the unprofessionalism went further. My ex-wife was allowed to have her father present, yet my parents were not permitted. At the second mediation, Ross finally allowed my mother in -- but when she voiced something that struck a chord with him, he threatened to remove her from his office. This made me feel unsupported by the very attorney I had hired to advocate for me.
Costs & Case Progress
Over the course of more than a year, I paid Ross $32,000. Despite this enormous expense, my case was nowhere near resolution. Some delays were caused by the opposing party's unwillingness to cooperate, but Ross's handling of the matter was sloppy and inefficient. When I ultimately ended his representation, I had to request my files. What I received was 2,000 pages in no particular order, forcing me to sift through everything myself.
Mediation Concerns & Legal Errors
Ross was insistent that we use "his mediator." During sessions, he and the mediator frequently joked back and forth -- "oh, her candy is better than mine," or recommending people from within each other's circle ("if we use a guardian ad litem, we should use this woman"). This raised concerns of conflict of interest and made the process feel less about resolution and more about maintaining their professional circle.
Even worse, Ross and his mediator agreed to a provision that mortgage payments would count as child support. When the judge reviewed the case, she enforced Minnesota law -- which clearly does not allow mortgage payments to substitute for child support. This mistake has exposed me to back payments, unnecessary stress, and extended litigation. I relied on my attorney to prevent exactly this kind of error, and instead it was written into my stipulation under his guidance.
Lack of Interest in Resolution
What became clear over time is that Ross was not focused on resolving my case. Instead, he seemed more interested in supporting colleagues within his network. The repeated referrals, casual joking, and reliance on "his people" gave the entire process the appearance of corruption and left me questioning whether my best interests were ever his true priority.
Bottom Line
In my experience, Ross's representation was unprofessional, costly, and legally careless. His lack of diligence has left me with avoidable financial exposure and prolonged litigation. I cannot recommend him to others seeking strong, competent legal support. Clients deserve attorneys who prioritize preparation, neutrality, and compliance with the law -- not wasted time, conflicted interests, and costly mistakes.
