Received a letter from this debt collector for my father that was turned over to Collections for an ambulance bill that the VA should have taken care of. I called the company that sold the debt several times advising of this. Whomever I spoke with was COMPLETELY rude and disrespectful off the bat. I advised him about billing the VA and he told me that "As you know the VA is problematic at taking care of bills." And I said , "No sir, I've never had a problem with them taking care of his bills." And he told me that "Well then you can handle it." The tone and words he used were awful. No sir, you can sit there on a bill that you can either bill to the VA or continue to collect interest on for an 86 year old man in assisted living with no assets that you're going to collect. When someone calls YOU to help get something paid, don't be an ass. I could care less about that bill.

Tried gaslighting me into thinking i DIDN'T talk to someone a week ago. My caller ID log has proof. Then gets testy with me when i get upset that they are gaslighting me "well i dont have record of that". But yet you want me to trust youll have record when payment happens? But you cant record a simple phone call? Especiallg after it was stated in the phone call youd notate you spoke with me. Hmmmmmmm sounds like shady business.

I was woken up the day after Christmas by Doug Finn, a passive aggressive collector who said that I could pay off my debt in ten months by paying $200/month; I told him I needed to look at my financial situation and get back to him after the holidays, and he rudely replied something to the effect of, "oh, so this isn't that important to you? Okay, so we have your debit until the end of next month before it goes to an attorney, good luck with everything."

I never dreamed I would ever write a positive review for a collection agency however here I am. We were incorrectly billed instead of our insurance for EMS services and despite giving our insurance information to the EMS billing people multiple times they still sent our account to collections instead of submitting to our insurance. This was confusing and took many months to get resolved. Throughout the entire ordeal Angela with AAA was a DREAM to work with. She was pleasant, professional and very helpful in assisting us to get our bill/debt resolved and processed through our insurance. Most debt collectors are known to be terrible, threatening and harassing and I had the exact opposite experience. If you have a bill go to debt collectors even if by no fault of your own, hope that you get to work with Angela because she's awesome!

I got a few different calls saying I owed $140 for a medical debt that I was 99% sure I had paid off already. I told them it had been paid already & they were like well we don't have record of that & then kept calling me. I got a letter in the mail then stating that I had an unresolved debt & if I didn't make a payment (to them) firuter collection action would occur. I looked at the account they claimed I still owed a debt on & had paid it off more than a month before the date on the letter they sent out. Very shady. Do not pay them or speak with them. Contact who they claim you owe money to directly
