I've paid Chapman Law Group thousands of dollars over the years and previously left positive reviews. Based on that history, I trusted them to help my elderly mother update her outdated Trust. That was a serious mistake, especially when it came to working with DAVID MAMMEL.
If you need estate planning, protect yourself and your loved ones: DO NOT HIRE HIM.
The fee was outrageous for what amounted to two short appointments to revise an existing Trust. I accompanied my mother to the first meeting solely to support her and ensure she understood everything, not to influence her decisions in any way. My mother, acting completely on her own judgment, chose to divide her assets 80/20 between myself and my brother (who had significant life-long addiction issues), appointing me to responsibly manage his share for his safety. It was a reasonable, well-considered plan.
Then came an insulting phone call from Mammel, accusing me of "undue influence" over my own mother, a baseless, offensive claim. He then barred me from being present when she signed the Trust.
Worst of all, he totally failed to explain the critical step of funding the Trust. To this day, it remains nothing but an expensive piece of paper and useless, because he didn't do his job. But he certainly made sure to collect his thousands.
THEN, after my brother sadly passed away, I contacted him to update the Trust and to simply ask that he explain the funding process to my mother. We've been ignored ever since.
Avoid this man. He is unprofessional and overpriced. And once he gets paid, you and your family are no longer his concern.

The reason I retained Chapman Law Group was to guide me through the process of having my license reinstated after a felony criminal conviction in which I served 23 months in prison. I went with this firm over the others because they had represented the company I had worked for when this offense occurred. I knew their reputation was to fight and never give up or give an inch in the defense of our company. And, they didn't disappoint with their tenacity with my case. I liked working with Chapman because they were very thorough and gave me step by step instruction on how to navigate this delicate matter. As a result of their hard work, I was reinstated to practice medicine. I have since been released from a two-year probation and have no further encumbrances to my license. My life has returned to normal since restarting the practice of medicine. I am right back in the thick of taking care of patients and making a comfortable living at the same time. Thank you, Chapman Group for your high level of professionalism.

The reason I retained Chapman Law Group was because I had a sanction upon my license and need to go through the reclassification process. I had been denied initially and I knew from previous reviews I had read, that Chapman Law Group was the place to turn to for the assistance and guidance I needed. I went with this firm as they are the leading law firm for these matters in the state of Michigan. I figured I'd go right to the experts. The best part was the professionalism, as well as the clear cut no bull crap answers that I received from the lawyer I worked with. He didn't sugar coat things, and he ensured that my case was set up as best as he could for success. As a result of their hard work, I was indeed able to get my license reclassified, which was truly a blessing. So far my life has changed by being able to get a job in my chosen field again. Prior everyone looked at me with disdain, however, now I'm able to walk confidently knowing that I have been reformed, I'm in good standing, and I can feel accomplished by my hard work. Thanks for saving my career and life Chapman Law Group.

I had the pleasure of working with attorney, Laith Quasem, on reviewing my hospitalist physician contract in Washington State, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From start to finish, he was professional, responsive, and incredibly thorough. He not only went through every detail of my contract but also explained the legal and practical implications in a way that was clear and easy to understand.
What really stood out was how tailored his guidance was to my specific situation as a new attending physician. He pointed out key areas I wouldn't have considered on my own, offered strategic advice for negotiation, and gave me peace of mind knowing that my interests were protected.
Laith's expertise in medical contracts is evident--he understands the nuances of physician employment agreements, compensation structures, and non-compete clauses, which made me feel very confident moving forward. He was also approachable and patient, never making me feel rushed, and always willing to answer my questions in detail.
If you are a physician navigating a new job offer or employment agreement in the state of Washington, I strongly encourage you to work with Laith. His guidance is invaluable, and he truly goes above and beyond for his clients.
